DeDra Walters, Director of Domestic Sales

Introducing DeDra Walters, Director of Domestic Sales for The Ohio Art Company. Known to most as DeDe, this spunky lady doesn’t need many introductions within the walls of Ohio Art. She’s been a friendly face around here for over 30 years!

DeDe began her lengthy tenure at Ohio Art in the Manufacturing Division and remained in this area for 17 years. DeDe has the distinct honor of being the one person appointed to lead the assembly of the first Animator, Etch A Sketch’s digital cousin. Even though she was in on the ground floor of this exciting production, DeDe says the original Etch A Sketch is still her favorite toy. She even recalls her days in elementary school when ALL the kids in her class just had to have an Etch A Sketch for Christmas!

In the early 90s, DeDe moved into the Sales Division at Ohio Art and has been an integral member of the sales team ever since. She works hard to ensure that every Ohio Art toy is in stores and ready to fulfill children’s wishes!

DeDe is the proud mother of 7 and grandmother of 17 with her husband, Paul. Of course, her job gives her an unfair toy-giving advantage over other grandmothers in the neighborhood but she’s not complaining – and neither are the kids!
